PREGNANCY no. 3
THIRD TRIMESTER
happy friday friends!! and happy LUNAR NEW YEAR! in case you didn’t know, it is Lunar New Year and we usually celebrate with my in-laws (my husband’s family is taiwanese and chinese) but we are just keeping it low key this year and hanging out at home. trying to decide if I should get some asian dishes for dinner tonight, better decide quickly haha! this is the year of the ox, so the kids did make some cute lanterns with an ox on them for their grandparents and cousins! we’re also looking forward to a low-key, chill valentine’s day weekend. I have salmon and veggies on the menu for dinner and were doing chocolate fondue for dessert! my daughter is so excited she has been talking about chocolate fondue for weeks! definitely excited for relaxed, family time this weekend!
In other news, my pregnancy is still going! I am now 33 weeks and starting to get a bit anxious. I delivered charlotte at 33.5 weeks and jax at around 34 weeks! so just wondering when this baby decided its time to be earth side! I am also so excited because I cannot wait to see his little face! also still have a to-do list — nothing too crazy, but I am still in the middle of organizing our bedroom and I have to get our bassinet put together and maybe get his carseat out of the box, figure out our seating arrangements in our car, oh and should probably pick up some diapers. haha. other than that I think we’re ready. I did a bunch of baby laundry a couple weeks ago and we have the main necessities ready to go.
even though I technically have 7 more weeks left of this pregnancy, because of my history, I wanted to get my must-haves for the third trimester out in case baby comes in the next couple weeks and I don’t get a chance to share. some of it is a repetition from the last trimester but there are a few things I found useful the last few weeks. check them all out below! plus i’m sharing some of my recent outfits – even though we haven’t been going anywhere, I find some days I just feel better if I get a bit dressed up.

so some of the items like the prenatal vitamins, belly oil, belly band, ice roller and Tums are from last trimester. but wow did I really need the TUMS this trimester more than last, my heartburn is bad… not fun! also still getting headaches, so the ice roller is useful + I added in this PORTABLE FAN because I just get hot randomly, and I know this will also be useful in the 4th trimester. plus this portable fan is so cute, amazing quality, rechargeable and also has a flashlight! this MASSAGER – I got from my hubby for my birthday and it is so nice for my lower back and shoulders. this BOOK is what I read with my first on a recommendation from a friend and I referenced it with my second and it is very easy to read, not too long and gives examples of sleep schedules that I liked. so I am just starting to go through some of it again to prepare for new baby. I don’t know if you have any kids, but the newborn sleep is kind of a blur. and lastly, the one thing I didn’t have with any other pregnancy is the SQUATTY POTTY – hahah!! this is useful for anyone that has a hard time going #2 – TMI! but pregnancy can slow things down in that department and this seems to help!
hope you enjoyed this post!

I am LOVING all these cozy looks!
First of all: Happy Lunar New Year! I hope you have fun celebrating 🙂 You’re definitely getting close to baby-time (possibly closer than some, if you delivered early for the first two). I hope everything goes smoothly from here on out!
Happy Lunar New Year! And loving these outfits!
I had no idea we are the same in our pregnancy progression. I’m 33 weeks going on 34 week this weekend. I recently tried the Hatch Belly Oil and I love it as well!
