DENIM SHORTS STYLE SESH

hey hey friends! happy HUMP day! the other day I teamed up with some blogger friends over on instagram to share how to style denim shorts!! denim shorts szn is almost here, if it’s not already here — our weather has been kinda wonky so were back to chilly weather sadly! anyway, denim shorts are a MUST HAVE CLOSET STAPLE for spring and summer and I styled two of my favorite pairs for you!!

this first look is probably my favorite of the four I will share in this post! it’s casual chic – perfect for a little lunch date or meeting some friends for coffee. it’s cute and still comfortable but the block heels and linen blend blazer totally elevate the denim cut off shorts and I AM OBSESSED !!

this second look is casual but a bit extra with the puff sleeve top, which is actually a tee, but the puff sleeves give it a more on-trend look but still comfortable, then I just threw on classic, leather slides and a practical and functional belt bag.

I love outfit three – perfect for cooler summer evenings – hanging out with friends or casual happy hour by the beach. this mesh, knit sweater is not too thick and I love the texture and fit. this time I am styling my top favorite pair of shorts – they are super popular but totally worth the investment I think. you will definitely wear them year after year! another belt bag because they are just so cute and easy and neutral sandals. also add some jewelry, like this paperclip link necklace to give your outfit some oomph.

ok so for my last look I put together this beach/pool day look that can take you right into casual happy hour or dinner! I am wearing a one-piece swimsuit, which looks great as a bodysuit, just threw on some shorts and this super lightweight duster cardigan, that also doubles as a cute cover up. and don’t forget a cute, chic oversized visor or hat, on-trend and protects your skin. also loving this cute beaded summer bag!
