WOMEN’S EDITION
Hey hey friends!! In case you missed it the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is officially open – that is for the highest tier – ICON members! I am an Ambassador member, so I cannot shop the sale until Wednesday! Unfortunately I work that day but I am hoping to get into the store later that day or the next day to do an in-store try-on for you on Instagram! so make sure to follow along there. Also if you missed my first blog post on the sale — take a look HERE! I give all the deets, important dates and tips on shopping the sale + my initial picks! I will say that at the end of the day, THIS IS JUST A SALE! Sales happen all the time, and I know this one can be frustrating because items sell out so fast! I am hoping to just be a resource for you, without overwhelming you, because I know there is LOTS AND LOTS of coverage on the sale!
I will say I personally really like the sale and shop it every year, but for the last few years I have been prioritizing items based on my closet needs and a few items I JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE! A couple years ago I stocked up on booties, because I hadn’t bought any in a few years and I felt it was time for an update, so last year I felt I still love my booties and they were very similar to the new ones, so I focused on other items, like basics and one splurge item – my bone leather jacket! SO just take inventory of what you have and don’t feel pressured into buying items you already have or that are super similar because SO many people are talking about it! I know I have to remind myself of this every time I shop!

In a separate blog post I will share MENS, KIDS/BABY & HOME favorites, and then over the next week or so, I will also be sharing some of my must-have items that I think will sell out quickly, as well as a few outfit ideas and how to style select pieces – I am all about the versatility!

[ SHOP BOOTS/BOOTIES ]
Boots and booties are definitely one of my favorite items to shop during the sale. I don’t think I need a bunch of different ones this season because I am very much happy with the ones I still have from a couple years ago, but I am really into the LUG boots – super on trend, and I love that they are more casual looking, because let’s be honest, I am ALL ABOUT THAT CASUAL LIFE! the two pairs of LUG STYLE BOOTS on my wishlist are THIS PAIR and THESE ONES!

[ SHOP JEANS ]
I don’t always get a pair of jeans during the #NSale but if you are looking to update your jeans or looking to buy some better quality, higher end pair, this is a great time to do it. there are always a bunch of jeans included during the sale, this is just a little glimpse!
[ SHOP COATS/JACKETS ]
Coats and jackets are another favorite of mine to shop during the sale! It is such a bummer that it doesn’t cool down here in San Diego for a while, it’s usually pretty warm, too warm for coats or jackets, until like October. But I LOVE LOVE jackets, especially leather jackets. My one splurge item also year was my All Saints Bone leather Moto jacket and I LOVE IT! They have the same style this year on sale but different colors. This SUEDE MOTO JACKET, is also a popular item – I got two a few years ago and still wear them a ton! I love the new colors this year! This other ALL SAINTS LEATHER MOTO JACKET is another favorite of mine, I have it in a rich brown color, it comes in the same bone color I love, also the SAGE green color one is calling my name! If you don’t want to splurge on a leather jacket, this FAUX LEATHER MOTO is a great pick!
[ SHOP SNEAKERS ]
I also love sneakers! if you have been following me for a while, you know how deep my love for a pair of sneakers is! I am obsessed and can’t have enough. I will say I am a little bit disappointed in the selection this year, and THIS PAIR that I have my heart set on, is already SOLD OUT in my size! SUCH A BUMMER. I do love the sneakers I shared here, but they are all very similar to pairs I already own – so if you’re looking for a new pair of casual sneakers or athletic sneakers, there are all GREAT!
[ SHOP DRESSES ]
even though I don’t wear too many dresses in the fall, I love a good versatile dress for summer to fall transition – and a cute dress does look fab with a pair of fall booties or OTK boots! I usually find one to two dresses I love that I know I can get lots of wear out of – from casual daytime look, to a cute date night look! These options are great for both!

Its not secret I LOVE GRAPHIC TEES – and I there are some great ones part of the sale! I did pick up one of my favorite tees last year – so soft and has held up so well!
