Happy happy F R I D A Y friends!

This week flew by for me and I am starting to realize how close Christmas is! It is so crazy that Christmas is just TWO WEEKS away! Can you believe it??? I started the holiday season off strong, very prepared, had all my to-do lists and gift lists all sorted out, and now that we’re quickly approaching Christmas, I am realizing how much I still have to get done! Always the struggle of really enjoying all the holiday things, taking the time to take it all in and all the chaos and stress that come with the holiday season!

I am sharing a way to make your holiday season stress-free and FUN! Whether you’re keeping it low key with immediate family for dinner, or having a full-on Christmas Eve party, I am sharing some party faves, yummy snacks and desserts all from Walmart!

Walmart is your one-stop shop for dinnerware, serving platters, silverware and cookware plus all your cooking needs, snacks and treats to make sure whatever you have planned this holiday season is done easy peasy and GOOD! I don’t know about you, but I LOVE, LOVE a yummy, quick and easy charcuterie board! I make a meat and cheese board at least once during the holiday season, even if its just for me and the kids! its festive and just quick to put together. Walmart has some amazing board options, like this ONE here that I used for our little quick get-together, plus some pretty trays and bowls to use for any occasion. Walmart also has ready-made party platters with meat, cheese and crackers, a few cracker variety packs, yummy meats and fruit to help you put together a super appetizing charcuterie board. If you want something sweet too, look no further, not only does Walmart have all the yummy candy and chocolate brands we love, like Hershey’s and Ghiradelli, and all the baking supplies and mixes you would need, they also have fresh baked goods! I picked up some cute, festive sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies for our little SWEETS tray!

We planned a quick little apps and treats with the cousins before we headed out to see some Christmas lights, and all the food were a hit! The kids love the sweets tray, and I have to say I had maybe one too many gingerbread cookies – SO YUMMY! it felt good to have people over and enjoy our time together without having to prep too much, it was less stressful and so much MORE ENJOYABLE with all the ready-to-go food items at Walmart. I also picked up a few affordable holiday decorations to create a simple, yet festive tablescape! I absolutely love the flocking on the garland and the candlesticks are perfect for any occasion!
