OUTFIT INSPO FOR THE WHOLE FAM

Happy Tuesday friends!! I cannot believe JUNE is almost OVER!! the year is really FLYINGGGGG by! annnnd I cannot believe 4th of July is only two weeks away! We usually keep it pretty chill with family since the kiddos are still pretty young and I like to keep bed times and stay away from huge crowds haha! luckily for us, if we want to see fireworks we can see a few different shows from our house so that’s fun! We still don’t know for sure what we will be doing this year, but we will most likely be spending the day with family — nice little BBQ and just relax!

for the holiday, I like to be festive but not over the top – I still like to keep it easy, casual and on the more neutral side. SO if you’re looking for some inspo for the fam and want outfits that you can wear all summer long without being over the top festive, then this post is for you! since I like to keep our looks as close to neutral as possible there is a lot of denim, blues and white!

I usually love to keep my looks super relaxing, so shorts, a cute top and sandals are usually my go-to, but I have been really into dresses lately. summer dresses are definitely my best friend right now with my postpartum figure. still figuring out what works with my current body type. and so far dresses are winning… haha!

what do you like to do for 4th of July?

like I mentioned earlier, we usually do a little family BBQ – and I love a good hot dog or some ribs and all the chips haha! I remember when I was growing up my mom would BBQ sooo much food – ribs, chicken, veggies & lots more. I also remember eating soooo much watermelon and spend most of the day in the pool – it was the BEST! maybe I will take the kiddos to the pool for the 4th of July!

  • I love that you said festive, but not over the top because that’s how I always am when it comes to the fourth! Festive but not over the top is way classier, and it helps when most of us have red, white and blue somewhere in our closets!
