the holiday season is super fun and exciting -- family visits, holiday parties, work events, dinners -- definitely a lot of hustle and bustle and yes it is the most wonderful time of the year, but it can also be super exhausting! so i've teamed up with HACKAMORE ENERGY to bring to you this amazing energy beverage that can be added to your juice, smoothie, or cocktail giving you enough oomph to get through the day! i love brunch and i definitely love my mimosas with brunch, so i thought i'd share this easy cranberry-orange mimosa with a shot of lime flavored hackamore energy! i mean, how amazing is that -- have a fun brunch with friends this holiday, enjoy a mimosa or two with added fun aka hackamore energy, no sleepy vibes after that --instead more energy to get through the day!

so for this mimosa, all you need is orange juice or fresh oranges, some cranberry juice of your liking, champagne and hackamore energy and fresh cranberries, orange and rosemary for garnish! who doesn't love a pretty cocktail?!

just fill most of your glass with champagne, about an ounce of hackamore, add a splash of cranberry juice, a good squeeze of half an orange (or splash of OJ if that works better for you) then add a shot of HACKAMORE ENERGY! lastly garnish how you'd like, i put a sprig of rosemary because its pretty, a few fresh cranberries and little orange wedge! this mimosa is sweet and delicious with a hint of lime from the energy shot! seriously the perfect addition to your drink menu for your next holiday brunch! C H E E R S !!

here are a couple other alcoholic brunch beverages with hackamore energy

christmas home decor and tablescape!

happy HUMP day BUMP day!! today i'm just sharing my holiday/christmas decor this year! if you don't follow me on instagram then you probably dont know how OBSESSED i am with the christmas season and how much i absolutely LOOOOOOVE decorating our home for the holidays! its just so much fun and something about holiday decorations make home feel extra warm and cozy and special! i just love it so much, i wish i could keep christmas decorations up all year round haha! the last couple years i've kinda stayed within the same color schemes but just kind of changed it up a little bit.. last year i had a little more red and more 'fun' traditional decor up in addition to my usual gold and sparkle i love so much. this year i mainly used gold and white, a little bit of black with small touches of red. i literally wanted it to be kinda glitzy and sparkly and glamorous but my hubby also needed a little bit more traditional and fun. so we have a little section on our bookcase with super cute, more colorful kitschy ornaments -- these are my faves and these

i kept our tree simpe but very pretty with all gold ornaments -- some shiny, some matte and some glittery -- and this year my new additions were the birds! can we please talk about these birds?! i am so obsessed with them -- when i first saw the white bird ornaments i thought OMGEEEEEE i have to have birds on my tree! i think they are so cute and pretty!

of course we had to have stockings up above our fireplace..which was a little challenging putting them up because we don't have a traditional mantel and out entire fireplace is rock but we made it work.. i sually get all matching stockings, but i switched it up and got a few different ones that i think totally go with my holiday look and complement each other -- obvi fur stockings (mine and the hubby's) because they just add glamour and luxury but not over the top and then we have two simpler cream ones (our two fur babies) with hints of metallic threading to tie in with the gold, and our last one is for our baby girl -- knitted cream with gold -- seriosuly so perfect! i love them!

moving on to my christmas tablescape -- gold, gold and more gold! haha can you tell that i am obsessed with gold! if you saw my fall/thanksigivng tablescape, i used the same gold charger plates, white dinner plates and flatware, but i switched out the salad plates with beautiful gold ones and white napkins with metallic gold detail! i also decided to use nakin rings this time and make the napkins look like bows. i love lots of i got different kinds of gold candle votives for the table and added these golden antlers for a little bit of a rustic sort-of feel but they're bronze-y gold so they still went with my theme. i opted for a tall centerpiece and wanted something more representative of the holidays so i found these great natural looking pine stems and added the draping gold berries for a touch of sparkle! my christmas tablescape is simple and easy to put together but i think it is absolutely stunning and beautiful!

how did you decorate for christmas this year?

hope you enjoyed my holiday decor at home!

happy THANKSGIVING!!! (( +pre-black friday sales ))

happy HUMP day, BUMP day and happy THANKSGIVING eve!!! i'm wishing everyone a beautiful thanksgiving ! hope everyone enjoys their turkey day with family and friends and lots of yummy food! i am so very grateful for my family, friends, for all that i am blessed with -- my amazing, supportive and loving husband and my baby girl on the way. i am also so thankful for all of you! thank you for following me along on this crazy journey -- i don't know exactly what i'm getting into and it can be so much work, but most importantly, its so much fun and i'm enjoying the process! so thank you for being a part of this adventure!

since thanksgiving is tomorrow, i thought i'd share my thanksgiving table decor! i'm not hosting thanksgiving this year...who knows when i will actually host it, its a huge undertaking, but i thought it would be fun to decorate our dining table! i get really excited over decorating for the holidays and my dining table is always a great place to showcase my holiday style! haha and i am more excited about my tablescape than i am about the food...any one with me? lol i mean except for the pumpkin pie...they might be equal! i am not a fan of super traditional holiday decor -- i don't mind a little bit here and there, especially for christmas -- i like more of a neutral, modern, chic decor palette, and of course some glam. i am obsessed with all things white, black and gold so thats the color scheme i went with. i wanted to make sure the table still had fall vibes, so i threw in some natural pine cones to offset the gold and black and white accents. whats so great is these pine cones came straight from my front yard! i was pretty excited about it! i also found these cute gold mini pumpkins -- perfect for fall but theyre gold! love them! i love giving an intimate feeling, so i thought having lots of candles on the table would totally set the mood so i used a bunch of flameless LED tea lights in these brass colored MINI LANTERNS and small GLASS BLOWN CANDLE VOTIVES that have a really pretty sparkly gold and white pattern. the table needed some height, so i found these cool, modern black and gold CANDLESTICK HOLDERS and used white candles. and i kept the theme going with my table setting -- plain white dinnerware, solid black napkins, pretty gold charger plates with leaf detail and GOLD FLATWARE, which were such a great deal from target! i debated back and forth about how i wanted to set the flatware, and decided tying them together with ribbon was really pretty. i love how everything came together, the mix of these colors is perfect! whats great about this theme is i could totally use it again for another dinner party. i had such a fun time coming up with this tablescape and putting it all together.  i cannot wait to share my christmas table decor soon -- i will be using some of these items for my christmas table decor too!

also, can we please talk about this pretty, dark floral dress from Jessa Kae! i love it. i have another dress by Jessa Kae i wore earlier in my pregnancy and they are non-maternity but the fit is great! it is so flattering, so comfortable and is so soft plus the dress has pockets!! how could you say no to a dress with pockets -- i mean i hear pockets and im SOLD! the colors and floral pattern is perfect for fall, i styled them with my favorite open-toe booties, but this dress would be perfect for cooler weather with black tights, booties and a pretty coat! its a fabulous dress!

alrighty i know we're all planning and prepping for how we will attack black friday and cyber monday -- cyber week is undeniably one the best AND busiest time to shop! i remember my family and i would get up at the crack of dawn and drive 45min to an hour to the outlet mall to make sure we were able to get everything off our shopping lists! but these days we can all now shop from the comfort of our home -- on the couch mid-food coma or while in bed... ANNNNDD what's even better is now you can even shop earlier! there are some amazing deals going on right now, so why wait when you can get some of your shopping done before thanksgiving and all the cyber week craziness!?! i've linked a bunch of retailers already sharing their black friday deals and coupon codes online!
